Suggestions for packaging are based on one week's experimental volume: WB primary antibody commonly uses a small amount of working solution, which can be packaged into 0.2ml low adsorption PCR tubes or screw cap cryovials for 1-2 times; The second antibody is the same. Number the pipe wall with an oil-based pen, then attach a low-temperature resistant label on the outside, and cover it with a layer of transparent tape to prevent condensation; Paper labels are easy to fall off at -20. Write targets, dilution ratios, and packaging dates for each position outside the box to avoid only recording them in a notebook.

When there is not enough space in the refrigerator, first carve out two areas that are in use and reserved. WB twice a week, you can buy 81-hole or 100-hole transparent cover freeze storage boxes, PC/PP material, domestic models with grid numbering, the key is that the box cover has a sealing ring, can withstand low temperature; the tube can be selected to stand the screw cover, sampling is not easy to bring out water vapor. Prepare two boxes: 4 degrees of first and second resistance to be used this week, -20 to put in stock, use one to replenish one from the stock, and the whole box is not repeatedly taken in and out.

The effects of repeated freeze-thaw on antibodies and recombinant proteins are not one-size-fits-all. Ordinary polyantibody secondary antibodies may be tolerated several times, but recombinant proteins, fluorescently labeled antibodies, and enzyme-labeled secondary antibodies are prone to aggregation and titer reduction. It is recommended to store according to the temperature in the instruction manual: if the standard is 4 degrees, it is not necessary to remove -20 if it is used up within two to three weeks; if the standard is frozen for a long time, take it after filling a single dose. Do not put the whole bottle in the ice box and take it out repeatedly, the ice box is only suitable for short-term transportation.
