Brand Introduction

The Simgen® brand was founded in Hangzhou in 2007. The company's founder combined the two English words "simple" and "gene" into "simgen," meaning "to obtain genes (nucleic acids) very simply." Since its founding, the company has focused on research and product development in nucleic acid extraction technology and related genetic testing technologies, and has obtained multiple unique patented technologies. The company has been selected as a Hangzhou "Blue Eagle Plan" enterprise and a Zhejiang Province technology-based SME, and has continuously obtained National High-Tech Enterprise certification in 2019 and 2022.

After years of continuous improvement and innovation, Simgen has developed ten major product categories, including nucleic acid isolation and purification kits, nucleic acid purification columns and filter columns, magnetic bead-based automated nucleic acid purification kits and instruments, nucleic acid sample collection and preservation, DNA markers and electrophoresis reagents, PCR identification/diagnostic kits and IVD raw materials, nucleic acid purification-related enzymes, and molecular cloning reagents and T vectors. All of these are independently researched and developed, with their own unique patented technology routes. Simgen has grown into a biotechnology company integrating R&D, production, sales, and technical services.
