Tth DNA聚合酶是一种从嗜热菌Thermus thermophilus HB8中发现的耐热DNA聚合酶，在Mg2+存在的条件下，该酶具有5′-3′ DNA聚合酶活性和5′-3′ 核酸外切酶活性，无3′-5′ 核酸外切酶活性，可广泛用于PCR扩增反应。在Mn2+存在的条件下，该酶在55-70℃条件下表现出较强的逆转录活性，可兼容复杂模板，且没有RNase
